Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team for the time slots of 9:00 am - 2:00 pm M-F. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance tasks, with a focus on both industrial and commercial settings.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness in designated areas.
- Conduct industrial cleaning duties, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Assist with custodial duties, including restroom sanitation and replenishing supplies as needed.
- Maintain equipment and tools used for cleaning, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Act as a porter by managing waste disposal and recycling efforts throughout the premises.
- Respond promptly to cleaning requests or emergencies to ensure a clean environment at all times.
Skills
- Knowledge of industrial and commercial cleaning techniques is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with cleaning duties, including lifting and moving items as necessary.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- A proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness and safety standards within the work environment.
