We are looking for self-motivated Tower Forman Technicians, with 2 years experience, and Tower Technicians, with at least one-year experience, with a strong background in Verizon and other national carrier networks, that are willing to travel around the Springfield, St Louis, and Kansas City area.
Requirements:
- Climbing Certification with at least one-year experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Proficient computer and testing skills
- Clean and clear background check
- Valid Driver’s license with clean driving record
- Able to lift 50-75 pounds
- Able to provide your own hand tools
- Experience with Ericsson, ALU, and NSN network equipment
- Tower Lighting
- Tower Modification
- L&A troubleshooting and testing
- Microwave installation and maintenance
Preferred Certifications:
- Comtrain or similar climbing certification
- OSHA 10-Hour
- First Aid/CPR
- RF Awareness
Job Descriptions:
- Conduct jobs in accordance with relevant codes and site-specific procedures while following applicable safety procedures.
- Operate mobile equipment
- Hoist work-related equipment, materials, and tools
- Build and maintain towers according per construction drawings
- Perform installation of all antenna and lines as specified in construction drawings
- Climb and work on communication towers to install, replace, and repair equipment
- Communication with fellow employees to maintain satisfactory work conditions
Qualifications:
A qualified applicant must be punctual and self-motivated, able to interpret scopes of work, receive instructions, and identify essential materials, tools, and be proficient in close out packages and daily reports. A qualified applicant must be dependable, safety conscious, team oriented, honest, professional, organized, detail oriented, and possess strong documentation and communication skills.
