If you've spent your career serving your department and your community, this is an opportunity to stay connected to the profession you love while building a rewarding second career with the flexibility and independence that comes with sales.
Weis Fire & Safety has been serving the fire service industry for more than 50 years. As a family-owned company, we've built our reputation by taking care of our customers, standing behind our products, and investing in the people who represent us.
We're looking for someone who wants to make a real impact by introducing innovative products that help firefighters operate safer, more efficiently, and more effectively.
As the National Sales Manager for our patented Commander Series product line, you'll lead the growth of a unique portfolio of products that departments across the country depend on. This isn't simply another sales territory, it's an opportunity to own a national product line and shape its future.
What You'll Do
- Lead nationwide sales and revenue growth for the Commander Series product portfolio
- Develop and execute a territory growth strategy to expand market share across the United States
- Build strong relationships with fire departments, distributors, municipalities, industrial customers, training organizations, and other strategic partners
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, referrals, industry networking and lead generation while strengthening existing customer relationships
- Provide competitive market intelligence, customer feedback and product recommendations to leadership
- Conduct product demonstrations, customer presentations, and hands-on training at customer locations, training facilities, conferences and trade shows
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and technical presentations
- Manage opportunities from initial contact through delivery and post-sale support
- Communicate proactively with customers regarding project status, delivery schedules and product updates
- Maintain an organized sales pipeline and accurate CRM activity
- Represent Weis Fire & Safety at industry conferences, trade shows, and customer events
- Collaborate with engineering, production, customer service, and leadership to execute projects and deliver an outstanding customer experience
- Willingness to travel approximately 10-25% nationwide
What You'll Be Selling
You'll represent Weis Fire & Safety's patented Commander Series, including:
- Draft Commander®
- Foam Commander®
- Hose Commander®
In addition, you'll work closely with fire departments, municipalities, industrial customers, distributors, and training organizations to demonstrate equipment, identify operational needs, and provide solutions that improve efficiency on the fireground.
This isn't transactional selling. You'll become a trusted advisor who helps departments solve real-world challenges through innovative equipment and exceptional service.

- An industrial or technical sales professional serving public safety customers
