Responsibilities
- Review case documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness for fair hearings
- Draft legal documents, including notices, summaries, and procedural correspondence with precision and clarity
- Manage case files using case management software and document management systems such as iManage
- Conduct legal research to support case analysis and decision-making processes
- Assist with data entry, filing, and maintaining confidential information securely in compliance with privacy standards
- Communicate professionally with clients, attorneys, and internal staff via phone, email, or written correspondence
- Proofread all legal documents to ensure correctness in spelling, grammar, and legal terminology before submission or distribution
- Support the preparation of hearing materials by organizing evidence and documentation efficiently
- Utilize Microsoft Office tools to create reports, spreadsheets, and correspondence that are clear and well-organized
- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling hearings, tracking case progress, and updating case management systems
Skills
- Strong analysis skills to evaluate case details accurately and identify relevant legal issues
- Paralegal experience or law office background demonstrating familiarity with legal procedures and terminology
- Proficiency in legal drafting, writing clear reports, summaries, and correspondence
