Duties
- Assist with the installation of rebar, formwork, and concrete pouring to support structural integrity.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely to perform tasks such as concrete cutting, finishing, and mixing.
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and construction plans to execute project specifications accurately.
- Support masonry, carpentry, roofing, stucco application, tile laying, and flooring installation tasks as needed.
- Conduct heavy lifting and material handling to transport supplies around the construction site efficiently.
- Follow all construction workplace safety regulations to maintain a secure environment for everyone on site.
- Perform demolition, restoration work, and renovation tasks with precision and care.
Requirements
- Proven experience working on construction projects or in a related field; familiarity with construction site safety regulations is essential.
- Mechanical knowledge and understanding of construction estimating processes are highly desirable.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and blueprint specifications confidently.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, concrete mixers, concrete pumps, and other construction equipment.
- Capable of heavy lifting and working on-site for extended periods under various weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license with experience in commercial driving preferred for operating heavy equipment or transporting materials.
- Strong work ethic with excellent attention to detail; ability to follow instructions accurately.
