Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Vac Truck Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a vac truck used for cleaning, transporting, and managing liquid and sludge materials on construction sites, industrial facilities, and municipal projects.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience operating vac trucks, dump trucks, and CAD trucks. This is a versatile utility position that requires the ability to assist with a variety of tasks and adapt to changing project needs.
Responsibilities
- Operate vacuum trucks equipped with high-powered suction systems to remove liquids, sludges, and debris from construction sites, tanks, and pipelines
- Assist with onsite construction activates.
- Support excavation activities by coordinating with operators of excavators and loaders to facilitate efficient material handling
- Follow all safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation, hazardous materials handling, and construction site procedures
- Maintain detailed records of operations, including inspection logs, material transport documentation, and project daily logs.
- Collaborate with team members on site to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to project timelines
Experience
- Proven experience operating vacuum trucks in construction or industrial settings with experience in jetting.
- Mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, dump trucks, & water trucks.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL Class A) with clean driving record; experience driving dump trucks is highly preferred.
- Hands-on experience working on construction sites with familiarity in construction processes in heavy civil atmosphere.
- Knowledge of safety standards related to heavy equipment operation and hazardous materials handling
- Strong understanding of construction site protocols with a focus on safety compliance and operational efficiency

Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
