Join a Democratic campaign working to re-elect a candidate for the State Legislature! We're looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and outgoing individuals to engage directly with voters and help keep the State Legislature blue.
As a Political Canvasser, you'll be speaking with voters at their homes, sharing information about the candidate and key issues, identifying supporters, and encouraging our get out the vote efforts.
Responsibilities
● Knock on doors and have respectful conversations with voters.
● Share campaign messaging and answer basic questions.
● Collect voter feedback and accurately record data using a mobile app.
● Encourage voter turnout and participation.
● Represent the campaign professionally and positively at all times.
Qualifications
● Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
● Comfortable walking and working outdoors.
● Must have a car and smartphone
● Ability to work evenings and weekends.
● Experience in political campaigns, sales, customer service, or community organizing is helpful but not required.
● Passion for public service and making a difference in your community.
