About the Role
Our Blocking Saw Operators are responsible for inputting commands and monitoring the process needed for computer-controlled saws to manufacture the foam. We utilize multiple saw types, including CNC saws. This is considered “light” manufacturing and we will provide training.
What You’ll Do
- Cutting down large foam buns into smaller blocks to be used in all other processes in our plant.
- Drawing patterns and marking foam as directed.
- Organizing cut materials in a neat and orderly fashion.
- Lifting and moving materials with proper techniques.
- Observing all safety rules and regulations.
What You Bring
- A positive attitude towards their coworkers and job.
- Ability to interpret dimensions and perform quick, basic math tasks while focusing on safety
- Ability to understand and follow all company policies and regulations
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Prior saw experience preferred but not required
