LOCATION: High School
POSITION: Food Service Secretary
HOURS: 9:00am - 1:00pm, Monday - Friday
REPORTS TO: Food Service Director
REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a High School Diploma
-
Possession of excellent communication and customer service skills
-
Previous secretarial experience preferred
-
Strong communication skills are required
-
Must have multitasking ability, professional etiquette and effective interpersonal skills

Proficiency in computers, word processing, excel preferred
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Performs secretarial and administrative support functions
-
Organizes and maintains a functional filing system that ensures the safe retention of office records.

Performs one or more specific accounting, bookkeeping, recordkeeping or personnel related functions as assigned. These functions may include: Meal Magic, MyFinance, MyOrders, etc.

Accepts responsibility for the coordination and facilitation of assigned special projects.

Generates purchase orders, invoices, departmental reports and correspondence, and other assigned materials.

Accepts responsibility for maintaining necessary rules of confidentiality.

Uses a variety of electronic data gathering and reporting systems required by the State of Michigan and/or the MAISD
-
Implementation and support for student record management and state and federal student counts.

Creates reports and provides student and district data reports as requested regarding Meal Counts, Sales Data, Deposits.

Participates in district and department training as necessary

Other duties as assigned by Food Service Director

PAY RATE: Per Master Agreement Salary Schedule
