Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Inside Sales Representative to join our growing conduit distribution company. This role is responsible for supporting day-to-day sales activities, generating new leads and business opportunities through high volume cold calling, communicating with manufacturers and customers, preparing quotes, and helping ensure customer needs are handled efficiently and professionally.
This is a full-time entry to mid-level sales support role ideal for someone who is highly organized, customer-focused, and proactive in manufacturer outreach.
This is an onsite position located in downtown Sarasota, FL (Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM). This role is highly dynamic and outreach-driven, requiring strong coordination of sourcing and quoting to ensure seamless project execution.

Responsibilities
- Make outbound cold calls to generate new business opportunities
- Build and maintain relationships with contractors, distributors, manufacturers, and customers
- Respond to inbound customer inquiries by phone and email
- Prepare and send customer quotes in a timely manner
- Follow up on open quotes and sales opportunities
- Communicate with manufacturers regarding pricing, product availability, lead times, and freight
- Assist customers with conduit product information, specifications, and order status updates
- Enter and maintain customer and order information accurately
- Coordinate with internal team members to ensure smooth order processing and customer satisfaction
- Support additional office and sales-related tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Previous customer service, inside sales, and office experience preferred
- Strong communication and phone skills
- Comfortable making cold calls and speaking with new customers and manufacturers
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and email communication
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn industry products and terminology
Preferred Experience
- Experience in construction, electrical, utility, or industrial supply industries is a plus
- Experience working with quotes, purchase orders, or inventory systems preferred but not required

Pay: $48,293.60 - $58,160.03 per year
