Beach Operations Manager / Jet Ski Rental Supervisor
Location: Pompano Beach, FL
American Water Sports is seeking an EXPERIENCED, dependable professional to oversee our daily beach and watersports operation. This is a leadership position for someone who has worked in the beach concession, jet ski rental, marina, or watersports industry and is ready to take ownership of day-to-day operations.
This is not an entry-level position. We’re looking for someone who already understands the fast-paced nature of beach rentals, customer service, safety, and equipment management.
Responsibilities
● Open and close the daily beach operation
● Manage beach chair, umbrella, cabana, kayak, paddleboard, and seasonal jet ski rentals
● Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve customer concerns professionally
● Train, supervise, and motivate team members
● Maintain rental equipment and keep the operation organized, clean, and running efficiently
● Follow and enforce all company safety procedures
● Help create a positive, productive, and professional work environment
Qualifications
● Required: Previous experience working for a beach concession, jet ski rental company, watersports rental operation, or marina
● Strong leadership and communication skills
● Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities
● Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
● Comfortable working outdoors in South Florida’s heat and weather conditions
● Available to work weekends and holidays
● Florida Boating Safety Card required
● Personal watercraft (PWC) experience strongly preferred
● Confident Swimmer
● Lifeguard certification is a plus
