We are now accepting applications for qualified and experienced candidates to join us at our location in our Saratoga Location as a full time Line/Hot Sandwich Cook. We’re looking for someone with a strong work ethic, who thrives under pressure and has the ability to multitask extremely well. You will be responsible for coordinating all low calls from the steam table and ensuring that the table is consistently replenished with fresh products.
Core Responsibilities:
- Keeping Line Cook’s station organized and tidy
- Following and complying with Company policies and procedures, including health and sanitation, and safe work practices
- Opening, ongoing, and closing duties to include cleaning equipment, assisting dishwasher, wrapping, labeling and dating items and other assigned duties
- Communicating with Catering Director for new and existing orders; GM and Expeditor/Shift Leader regarding steam table dishes, prices, ingredients and explanation to guests including any allergens.
- Making Cutlet and Hot Sandwichs along with Kitchen Prep.
Qualifications:
- Ability to work independently as well as with the team to produce all dishes expertly
- Possesses cooking skills such as sauteing, simmering, baking, grilling and frying
- Knowledge of safe food handling procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
- Strong understanding of menu and ingredients
- Excellent knife skills and ability to safely utilize meat slicer, fryer, oven, stove and all other relevant kitchen equipment
- Strong creativity skills to develop new recipes and build on existing ones

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
