The Analyst, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) plays a critical role in ensuring Tyson Foods delivers safe, high-quality, and compliant food products to market. This position exists to manage and optimize the flow of product data and specifications throughout the product lifecycle—from ideation through commercialization and beyond.
Serving as a bridge between cross-functional teams such as R&D, Operations, Regulatory, and Marketing, this role supports strategic business initiatives by maintaining data integrity, enabling digital systems, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. The PLM Analyst is essential to driving consistency, efficiency, and transparency across Tyson’s product portfolio, helping to bring innovative products to market with speed and confidence.
This position sits full time onsite in Springdale, Arkansas.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Collaborate Cross-Functionally
Proactively identify , analyze, and resolve system, software, or application issues to minimize disruptions and maintain operational efficiency.
Generate and analyze reports related to material creation, specification completion, workflow status, data quality, and commercialization activities. Utilize reporting tools to identify trends, process bottlenecks, and opportunities for improving data accuracy and operational efficiency.
Create, maintain , and govern material master data and product specifications within PLM and connected enterprise systems. Ensure material records are accurate , complete, and aligned with formulation, labeling, manufacturing, procurement, and regulatory requirements.
Support material lifecycle processes including creation, modification, obsolescence, and commercialization activities.
Organization of critical data through specific P LM workflows, critical thinking around formulations, and product processing requirements is necessary to ensure operational and regulatory compliances are met.
Coordinate with IT, Master Data Governance, R&D, Innovators, Regulatory, Procurement, and other cross-functional teams to resolve material data issues.
Compliance & Product Specification
Serve as a subject matter expert for material management and specification processes. Provide guidance to users on data standards, workflows, and system functionality. Partner with business and IT teams to evaluate enhancements, document requirements, test solutions, and improve user adoption.
Actively explore and responsibly adopt AI-enabled capabilities, automation, and digital tools to improve data accuracy, reduce manual effort, identify process trends, and enhance decision-making across PLM workflows.
Bachelor's degree in Science , Business or a related field of study, or equivalent work experience, is required .
Understanding of ingredient, allergen, claims, and product specification requirements that support accurate material setup and complian ce.
