We are looking for a friendly, energetic, and reliable Cashier to join our food stall team. You will be the face of our business, responsible for taking orders, handling payments, and ensuring every customer leaves with a smile. Experience in food service is a plus, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are most important.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and take food/drink orders accurately
- Operate the POS (point-of-sale) system or cash register
- Handle cash, credit/debit card, and mobile payments securely
- Provide menu recommendations and answer customer questions
- Pack orders and coordinate with kitchen staff for timely delivery
- Keep the counter, dining area, and payment station clean and organized
- Restock utensils, napkins, condiments, and takeaway containers as needed
- Assist with basic food prep or beverage station duties during busy times
- Follow all health, safety, and food hygiene regulations
- Handle customer complaints or concerns with professionalism and calmnes
Requirements
- Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred (but not required)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, standing environment
- Strong communication and people skills
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Food handler’s permit or willingness to obtain one (if required locally)
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs (supplies, boxes, etc.)
