IN-HOME CAREGIVER – MIDDLETOWN
JOB SUMMARY
Lean On Me Caregiving is seeking compassionate and dependable In-Home Caregivers serving Middletown, DE and surrounding areas up to Dover. We are currently looking for caregivers interested in building consistent hours and making a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors within their community.
No certification is required. We are non-medical caregiving agency, and we welcome individuals with a caring heart, strong work ethic, and passion for helping others.
Please note that working every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday) and every other holiday is required.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Assist clients with mobility and transfers to ensure safety.
- Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
- Engage clients in social activities and companionship to promote mental well-being.
- Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to the healthcare team.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Ability to travel between clients within Middletown and surrounding areas up to Dover.
- Ability to work independently while following care plans and instructions.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Compassionate demeanor with a passion for helping others.
- Must be able to pass background checks and drug screening as required by Delaware state regulations.
- Valid Delaware driver’s license, personal vehicle, and auto insurance meeting Delaware state requirements.

Pay: $16.00 – $17.50 per hour
Expected hours:
Full-time: 30–40 hours per week
