Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to customers
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, or hand trucks
- Follow delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
- Verify the contents of each shipment against delivery documents and obtain signatures from customers
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicle
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle
Skills:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a related role (e.g., courier, van driver)
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and procedures
- Ability to operate various types of delivery vehicles (e.g., box truck, van)
- Proficient in using equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts for loading/unloading cargo
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate deliveries and documentation
- Physical stamina to lift and move heavy items as needed
