Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Control Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards by conducting thorough inspections and audits throughout the manufacturing process. This role requires a strong understanding of quality management systems, regulatory compliance, and the ability to utilize various precision measuring instruments.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality inspections on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and coordinate measuring machines to assess product dimensions and tolerances.
- Conduct quality audits in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, CGMP, and FDA regulations to ensure adherence to quality systems.
- Implement HACCP principles to monitor critical control points in the manufacturing process.
- Collect and analyze data related to product quality and performance using tools like Calypso and vision inspection systems.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to identify areas for improvement in processes and product quality.
- Document inspection results, non-conformities, and corrective actions taken in compliance with quality assurance protocols.
- Assist in training staff on quality control procedures and best practices.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 13485, CGMP, HACCP, FDA regulations, and other relevant quality standards.
- Familiarity with QA/QC methodologies and tools for effective analysis of product quality.
- Proficient in using precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, and coordinate measuring machines.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail for identifying defects or deviations from specifications.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining a strong focus on individual responsibilities.
