American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical/Surgical Stepdown Intermediate Care position at a teaching hospital in Wichita, KS, requiring telemetry experience and a valid KS or compact RN license.

Medical/Surgical Neurovascular/Renal Stepdown Intermediate Care unit in a hospital setting
-
38-bed unit with telemetry and remote monitoring capabilities
-
No drip titrations performed on this unit
-
Lab team handles blood specimen collection; IV team available for additional support though RNs are expected to start IVs
-
No EKG performance or sheath discontinuation required
-
Night shift: 19:00–07:30
-
Every other weekend required
-
May float between 3 hospitals and 1 rehabilitation hospital

EMR: Cerner OneChart
-
Active KS RN license or compact RN license currently in hand

Current AHA BLS certification required for consideration

Minimum 1 year of RN experience required

Active US Social Security Number and US home address required

Driver's license copy required for consideration

Two professional references required for consideration

Academic teaching hospital environment

Ceil blue scrubs required
