Lawrenceville, GA
Full-Time
About Us
The Gwinnett/Walton Habitat for Humanity ReStore is a nonprofit home improvement store and donation center that supports Habitat’s mission of building homes, communities, and hope. Every sale, donation, and customer interaction helps fund affordable housing work right here in Gwinnett and Walton counties.
We are looking for a full-time ReStore Sales Floor Specialist to serve as a key sales floor presence and front-line ambassador for Habitat for Humanity.
Position Summary
The ReStore Sales Floor Specialist is a hands-on, customer-facing, sales-focused role responsible for creating a positive shopping experience, driving sales, maintaining product knowledge, supporting inventory accuracy, and keeping the sales floor clean, organized, safe, and fully shoppable.
This position interacts with customers, donors, volunteers, and staff throughout the entire day. The ideal candidate is friendly, dependable, sales-minded, physically active, quick to learn, and comfortable working with a wide variety of products.
Because ReStore inventory changes daily, this person must be able to quickly learn about unique donated items while also becoming knowledgeable about our standard continuous inventory.

- Serve as a mission ambassador by representing Habitat for Humanity positively to customers, donors, volunteers, and community members.
- Help customers understand how ReStore purchases and donations support affordable housing in the local community.
- Maintain a constant and approachable presence on the sales floor.
- Learn and communicate product information for both donated merchandise and standard continuous inventory.
- Keep assigned areas clean, organized, safe, full, and visually appealing.
- Merchandise furniture, home goods, building materials, lighting, appliances, and other products to maximize sales.
- Help move merchandise quickly from receiving or storage areas to the sales floor.
- Assist with pricing, tagging, markdowns, product rotation, and inventory accuracy.
- Use the POS/inventory system for register backup, inventory input, item lookups, and inventory adjustments.

- Assist customers with product questions, purchases, holds, pickups, and loadouts.
- Help load merchandise into customer vehicles.
- Use carts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and dollies to move product safely.
- Communicate sales floor needs, customer trends, product issues, and inventory opportunities to management.
- Provide clear task direction to part-time staff and volunteers in support of daily sales floor priorities.
- Help guide volunteers serving in customer service, sales floor support, product movement, and customer loadouts.
- Support a positive volunteer experience by being welcoming, patient, mission-focused, and appreciative.
- Maintain a safe work environment by following safety procedures and addressing hazards promptly.
- Follow all company and store policies and procedures.
- Support the ReStore in reaching sales, service, safety, and mission goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Ability to learn product information quickly and communicate it clearly to customers.
- Sales-focused mindset with the ability to recognize opportunities to help customers and move product.
- Ability to communicate professionally with customers, donors, volunteers, and staff.
- Good judgment and problem-solving skills, especially in fast-moving or challenging situations.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to cleanliness, safety, pricing, and presentation.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team.
- Flexibility to shift priorities based on customer needs, donation flow, inventory, and store activity.
