Johnny Rippas Food Truck is looking for a well-rounded, high-energy team member who can handle both the kitchen and the customer. This role is perfect for someone who loves cooking, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys interacting with guests just as much as making great food.
Position Overview
This is a hybrid role combining line cook & prep duties with front-of-house customer service. You’ll be cooking, prepping, taking orders, running the register, and helping create the welcoming, laid-back vibe Johnny Rippas is known for.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items consistently and efficiently
- Assist with daily prep, stocking, and organization
- Work the register: take orders, process payments, and handle cash accurately
- Engage with customers in a friendly, confident, and professional manner
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards at all times
- Communicate clearly with teammates during busy service
- Help open, operate, and close the food truck as needed
What We’re Looking For
- Experience as a line cook, prep cook, or food service worker (food truck experience a plus)
- Comfortable talking to customers and taking orders
- Ability to multitask and stay calm during rushes
- Strong work ethic and team-first attitude
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Food safety knowledge preferred (but willing to train the right person)

This is a full time position working Tuesday-Saturday all year round. Closed for all major holidays. Closed Sundays & Mondays
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
