Mount Hood Mechanical Services is seeking experienced HVAC, Refrigeration, and Commercial Cooking Equipment Technicians to join our growing team.
We are a small, hardworking company that stays busy year-round. We service and install a wide variety of equipment including HVAC systems, commercial refrigeration, ice machines, restaurant equipment, and cooking appliances for customers ranging from local businesses to national accounts, including McDonald's locations.
What We're Looking For
This is a plug-and-play position. We are looking for technicians who already know their trade and can work independently with minimal supervision.
The ideal candidate:
- Has proven experience in HVAC, refrigeration, commercial cooking equipment, or a combination of all three.
- Can diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment efficiently.
- Knows how to use industry tools, test instruments, and service equipment safely.
- Can read wiring diagrams, service manuals, and technical documentation.
- Is self-motivated and capable of working independently.
- Shows up on time and takes pride in their workmanship.
- Has strong communication and customer service skills.
- Knows how to find answers when faced with unfamiliar equipment.
- Works well as part of a team and is willing to help others succeed.
- Maintains a professional appearance and attitude.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a drug screening.
- Ability to lift equipment and work in commercial environments.
- EPA Certification preferred.
- Experience servicing refrigeration, HVAC, ice machines, and/or commercial cooking equipment.

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
