Pequabuck Golf Club, nestled on the Terryville/Bristol, CT Line, is an 18-hole semi-private Golf Course that opened in 1902. We are looking to hire a seasonal full time position for the golf course maintenance department. Ideal candidates should be highly motivated and show a desire to learn and grow in the position. Start date would be ASAP.
This is a golf course, where both week-day and weekend work will be required for all individuals.
Responsibilities include:
- Helping mow all aspects of the golf course, including greens, tees, fairways, roughs and clubhouse grounds
- String trimming areas as needed
- Hand-Raking bunkers
- Course clean-up in the spring and fall, as well as through-out the season as needed
- Assisting with projects throughout the season, which could include bunker improvement, cart improvement, tree limbing/removal, etc.
-Learn all aspects of the course, and how to set up a course daily
Requirements:
- Prior experience on a golf course or landscaping preferred - willing to train as needed
- Reliable transportation and a CT drivers license.
- Ability to show up on time each day and perform the expected jobs
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in all weather conditions, including rain, 90+ temperatures, etc.
- Positive attitude, a desire to learn and grow, and flexibility
