Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated X-Ray Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic radiographic examinations while ensuring exceptional patient care and safety. This role requires a strong understanding of radiographic imaging principles, anatomy, and patient positioning. The X-Ray Technologist will work collaboratively with physicians and clinical staff to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
Duties
● Diagnostic X-Ray Imaging: Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray examinations according to physician orders and established protocols. Ensure proper patient positioning and image quality for accurate interpretation.
● Patient Safety: Prioritize patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process. Adhere to radiation safety standards, including the use of appropriate shielding and dose reduction techniques.
● Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain radiographic imaging equipment, ensuring proper functionality and image quality. Perform routine quality assurance checks and report equipment issues as needed.
● Patient Care: Educate patients on imaging procedures and answer questions regarding the examination process. Provide a compassionate and professional experience for all patients.
● Safety Compliance: Follow all infection control, HIPAA, OSHA, and radiation safety guidelines. Ensure compliance with clinic policies and regulatory requirements.
● Clinic Duties: Assist with patient flow, room preparation, obtaining vital signs, maintaining accurate medical records, and supporting providers during clinical procedures as needed. Additional duties may be assigned by clinic leadership to support efficient clinic operations.
Qualifications
Education
● Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
Licensure/Certifications
● Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiography (R) required.
● Current state licensure, if applicable.
Experience
● Previous experience performing diagnostic X-ray examinations required.
● Experience in an outpatient, ENT, urgent care, or specialty clinic setting preferred.
Skills and Abilities
● Strong understanding of radiographic anatomy, patient positioning, and radiation safety principles.
● Proficiency in operating digital radiography equipment and imaging software.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
● Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Physical Requirements
● Ability to assist and position patients safely.

Working Conditions
● Full-time position in a medical clinic setting.
● Monday–Friday schedule.

Pay: $1,692.02 - $2,037.70 per week
