American Traveler is seeking a Chemo Certified Oncology RN for a 13-week travel contract in Illinois, working day shifts in a specialized oncology clinic setting.

Day shift schedule: 5x8-hour shifts, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

13-week contract

Active IL RN license required

Chemotherapy certification required

Oncology nursing experience required

Assess and address clinical, emotional, spiritual, psychosocial, and financial patient needs

Educate patients and families on their diagnosis, treatment plans, side effects, adverse reactions, and reportable symptoms

Coordinate discharge planning with patients, families, social workers, home nursing staff, oncologists, and primary physicians
-
Participate in multidisciplinary consultations and/or tumor conferences and document resulting recommendations
-
Collaborate on the development of patient education materials, clinical pathways, and quality studies
-
