Duties
- Operate commercial laundry machines to wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, uniforms, and guest clothing with precision and care
- Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements to optimize washing processes
- Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas, including washing stations, storage rooms, and equipment
- Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies and notify management when restocking is needed
- Follow safety procedures for handling chemicals and operating machinery to ensure a safe work environment
- Assist with general cleaning duties around the premises as needed to uphold cleanliness standards
Experience
- Prior experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Knowledge of laundry techniques including washing, drying, folding, and stain removal
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high quality standards
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Experience working in a hotel or hospitality setting is advantageous but not essential
