**Salon Manager Job Description**

**Experience & Skills Requirement:**
- College Degree or Equivalent Education/Experience
- Proven managerial experience
- Hands-on experience with office equipment and POS systems
- Proficiency in salon systems and software
- Familiarity with transaction processing
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, phone, and email)
- Strong organization and record-keeping skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Growth mindset with commitment to ongoing education
- Professional presentation aligned with the salon's vision
- Proficient in financial reporting
**Not Required:**
Experience in the beauty industry is not mandatory.
**Your Responsibilities:**
- Recruit, select, and orient new employees
- Assist, oversee, and evaluate salon staff
- Maintain workplace culture in line with company vision and values
- Ensure strategic goals are met by all staff
- Perform routine quality assurance checks
- Handle customer and employee disputes diplomatically
- Establish and maintain vendor relationships
- Manage online presence and salon brand
- Monitor salon performance metrics
- Prepare reports on salon and employee performance
- Stay informed of regulation changes for ongoing compliance
- Plan and schedule staff strategically
- Reconcile expenses and ensure financial accuracy
- Manage marketing and advertising campaigns
- Oversee Google Sheets tracking, email campaigns, and social media
- Facilitate training and hiring of team members
- Schedule team meetings and one-on-one sessions
- Manage problem-solving and event planning
- Create content and schedule posts for social media
- Track financials and create Canva templates for promotions
