American Traveler is seeking an experienced ED RN for a night shift travel contract in a Level 3 stroke-receiving emergency department in California, requiring a valid CA RN license and a minimum of 2 years of ED experience.

34-bed ED serving patients of all ages and diagnoses

Level 3 ED designated as a semi/stroke receiving center; no trauma designation

Patient ratio of 4:1

Epic EMR experience required

Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 6:00 PM–6:30 AM start times
-
Every other weekend rotation required
-
No on-call requirement
-
13-week contract
-
Active CA RN license required
-
Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS, and PALS

Minimum 2 years of ED experience required

Epic EMR experience required

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates

Responsibilities include assessment, care coordination, direct patient care, patient and family education, and transitions of care

Delivers holistic, individualized care to all patients in an assigned area

Two supervisor references obtained within the past year are required for consideration

Former employees of this health system must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler

Only one holiday RTO request will be approved for this assignment
