Duties
- Greet guests warmly, present menus, and answer questions about food and beverages with enthusiasm.
- Take accurate orders using Toast, ensuring timely and correct delivery.
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities.
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and presentation.
- Manage guest relations by addressing concerns promptly, providing personalized service, and ensuring overall satisfaction.
- Assist with food handling, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods to maintain smooth operations.
- Utilize reservation platforms like OpenTable to manage seating arrangements and optimize guest flow.
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably in fine dining or nightclub settings.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally.
- Demonstrated time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and sales upselling.
