Job Description: CNC Machinist
Quala is seeking a CNC machinist to join our service team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art prototyping lab where team members are bringing to life next generation consumer electronic devices. This role requires on-site work in Redmond, WA.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Material preparation
- Machine set up and tear down
- Run Programs at CNC machines
- Manual machining as needed
- Support raw material inventory and organization
- Operate and help maintain sawing equipment
- Support all model makers and fabricators as needed
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of professional or academic experience setting up and operating CNC machines.
- Works well in a team environment.
- High attention to detail
- Basic machine shop experience
- Experience operating basic shop tools and equipment (saws, manual mills, measuring tools etc.)
- Ability to learn newer technology such as waterjet and laser cutter
- Academic or professional experience with CAM software
- Model Maker/Prototyping experience a plus

Hourly rate range $27 - $35 hourly DOE
