Job Summary:
We’re seeking a driven TXU Energy Team Lead to lead a high-performance field sales team. This leadership position offers a base pay commensurate with experience, plus uncapped commission opportunities, including personal commissions, team overrides, and performance bonuses.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong leadership skills, a proven track record in direct sales, and the ability to recruit, train, and scale a successful team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit, train, and mentor a team of independent sales representatives.
- Lead from the front by actively participating in field sales and demonstrating best practices.
- Set daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals for the team and hold reps accountable.
- Motivate and coach team members to maximize individual performance and earnings.
- Manage team schedules, territories, and lead assignments effectively.
- Monitor sales activity and provide performance feedback through regular one-on-ones.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase close rates and market penetration.
- Track team metrics and report performance results to upper management.
- Foster a competitive, energetic, and ethical sales culture.
- Ensure reps follow company policies and represent the TXU Energy brand professionally at all times.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Energy Sales
- At least 1 year of team leadership, management, or mentorship experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to recruit and develop top-performing sales reps
- Willingness to work scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends
- Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with a strong work ethic
Compensation:
- Base Pay: Commensurate with experience
- Commission: 100% commission opportunities on personal sales
- Team Overrides: Earn a percentage from your team’s sales

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
