Seeking a Mid-Level Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) Design Engineer with 5–20 years of experience in Power Generation (preferred) or Midstream Oil & Gas. This role focuses on designing instrumentation and control systems, creating instrumentation datasheets, I/O lists, process documentation, and sizing control valves and flow elements. The ideal candidate will have a BSEE, strong knowledge of instrumentation, automation, motor controls, and IEC standards. PLC programming is not required.
Must-Have Requirements
- BSEE.
- 5–20 years of I&C design experience.
- Power Generation (preferred) or Midstream Oil & Gas experience.
- Experience creating instrumentation datasheets, I/O lists, and process sheets.
- Control valve and flow element sizing experience.
- Fire & Gas instrumentation datasheet experience.
- Knowledge of IEC standards.
- Experience with instrumentation, automation controls, and motor controls.
Preferred
- Familiarity with Allen-Bradley PLCs (no programming required).
- Experience with GE Mark VIe turbine control systems.
