- Licensure: An active, Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license.
- Experience: 1–3 years of clinical or home health administration experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with EMR software, medical terminology, and typing/general office tools.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with HIPAA, Medicare Conditions of Participation, and Electronic Visit Verification
Clinical documentation and record keeping:
- Processing, tracking, and verifying physician orders, lab results, and medication.
- Ensuring all patient records and documentation strictly adhere to HIPAA and home health regulatory standards.
- Assist the Case Manager by coordinating clinal documentation.
- Help prepare, update, and monitor patient care plans, ensuring services are delivered as prescribed.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient files and Electronic Health Records in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Assist with clinical audits and Quality Assurance to ensure standards are met.
- Monitor adherence to infection control protocols and safety standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. A degree in healthcare administration is preferred.
- Experience: Prior experience in home health, case management, or healthcare administration is preferred.

- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA regulations.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, healthcare processes.
- Certification in medical office management is a plus.

- Support the healthcare administration in enhancing the quality of care for patients, ensuring they receive timely and appropriate services.
