⭐ Position: Customer Service Representative / Event Coach (“Rage Expert” & “Axpert”)
We are looking for ENERGETIC, ENTHUSIASTIC, OUTGOING, quick-learners to join our team as multi-skill coaches who can work at both Smash City Rage Rooms and San Jose AxeVentures. You will become the face of our brands—greeting guests, teaching them how to smash safely, how to throw axes, and making sure every group has an unforgettable experience.
NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED! We will train the right personalities on all axe-throwing techniques, safety procedures, and room operations.
Primary Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and deliver a fun, memorable experience
- Uphold safety protocols at all times
- Teach guests how to smash safely and/or throw axes properly
- Oversee activities, games, and group flow
- Answer phone calls and emails from customers
- Periodically check in on guests during their sessions
- Maintain facility cleanliness across both businesses
- Perform quality control for rooms, lanes, and equipment
- Restock inventory and assist with general administrative tasks
- Lift and move up to 75 lbs regularly
- MOST IMPORTANTLY → Bring the energy and make it fun!
- Responsibilities for this position is not limited to the above
Physical Requirements
- Must stand for entirety of shift
- Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
- Must have full range of motion of arms and full usage of hands

- Strong customer service instincts
- Or simply being naturally entertaining and personable!
