Position Summary
We are hiring a Full-Time Property Inspector responsible for inspecting multiple vacation rental properties per day. This role requires excellent time management, strong physical stamina, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Inspectors play a critical role in ensuring each home meets our high standards before guests arrive.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete a high volume of property inspections daily with consistency and accuracy
- Follow detailed checklists to assess cleanliness, condition, and guest readiness
- Document and report damages, missing items, and maintenance issues
- Troubleshoot common tech issues (Wi-Fi, streaming devices, TVs, etc.)
- Input maintenance tasks using a mobile app while in the field
- Work independently on tight timelines and adjust priorities on the fly
- Communicate professionally with housekeeping, maintenance, and office staff
- Interact respectfully with guests and announce presence in occupied properties
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record (Required)
- Previous experience in hospitality, housekeeping, or property inspection (Required)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lift 40 lbs, walk long distances, climb stairs, and work in all weather conditions
- Self-motivated, efficient, and dependable
- Bilingual is a plus
Important Notes About This Role
- This is a strenuous, physically demanding position requiring frequent lifting, walking, and stair climbing throughout the day
- You must be able to inspect 10+ properties daily, depending on the season and assignments
- The ability to stay focused, organized, and professional under pressure is essential
Compensation & Benefits
- $22.00/hour
- $30/day vehicle use reimbursement, plus gas and maintenance reimbursements
