Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Dental Assistant with a minimum of three years of clinical experience. This is a brand new practice in Sunnyside. Lots of room to grow. The ideal candidate is proficient in Dentrix , highly organized, knows how to use intro oral scanner and able to support a wide range of dental procedures.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during procedures including:
- Crown preparations
- Root canals
- Extractions
- Bone grafting
- Implant procedures
- Operate an intraoral scanner confidently and accurately
- Maintain a clean, sterile, and well‑organized office
- Follow infection control protocols and OSHA guidelines
- Prepare instruments, materials, and equipment for procedures
- Document treatment notes and update patient records in Dentrix
- Support smooth patient flow and efficient daily operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of dental assisting experience
- Proficiency with Dentrix
- Experience assisting in general and surgical procedures
- Strong attention to detail; diligent, observant, and efficient
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work well in a fast‑paced clinical environment
