Job Summary:
Pattonville School District is seeking a passionate and dedicated clerical assistant to join our team. Must be able to work with building employees and members of the school community in a diplomatic, friendly, and efficient manner

Ability to edit routine correspondence for spelling and grammatical errors

Experience with Apple operating systems

Ability to effectively use: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Google Drive, Gmail, Google Sheets, and Google Docs

Ability to efficiently utilize our student information system for attendance tracking, data input, and report generation with attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to effectively implement multiple projects and job responsibilities while simultaneously monitoring lines of communication

Answer incoming telephone calls, determine the purpose of the call, and provide information directly or refer calls to proper person or office

Must be familiar with school/district and general office practices/procedures.

Knowledge of standard office machines, equipment, and computers

Ability to organize, maintain files, and records so they remain updated and easily accessible
Required Qualification:
-
High school diploma supplemented by one-year of clerical experience and/or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
Travel Requirements:

Travels to school district buildings and professional meetings as required.

Pay Structure:

Pay Grade A180: $17.04 - $25.77 per hour
