We specialize in light commercial-agricultural Construction, and our jobs range from pre-engineered steel buildings, concrete flatwork, commercial tenant improvements, site preparation. We also do a fair amount of repairs and maintenance on the scopes listed above.

Job Summary We are hiring an experienced Journeyman Carpenter to build, erect, install, repair, and finish structures and fixtures made from wood, steel and other materials on various construction projects. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated professional with a strong work ethic, a proven track record of successfully running projects with minimal supervision, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, building plans, and specifications to accurately plan and execute work.
- Measure, mark, cut, shape, and arrange materials according to layouts and instructions.
- Construct structural frameworks, including walls, floors, roofs, beams, and concrete forms, as well as scaffolding.
- Perform finish carpentry, including installing windows, doors, cabinets, trim, molding, flooring, siding, and built-ins.
- Assemble and join materials (e.g., wood, drywall, plastic, fiberglass, metal studs) using appropriate fasteners.
- Operate hand and power tools to cut, shape, and secure components.
- Repair, modify, or renovate existing structures.
- Verify work accuracy using levels, framing squares, and other tools; correct issues promptly.
- Strictly adhere to local building codes, OSHA safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Occasionally assist in training apprentices or coordinating with other trades.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical directions.
- Strong mathematical skills for quick and accurate problem-solving.
- Thorough knowledge of carpentry principles, methods, and best practices.
- Skilled in selecting, using, and maintaining hand and power tools.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and independent work capabilities.
- High work ethic, self-motivated, and demonstrated ability to manage projects with little to no supervision.
Education and Experience
- Completion of vocational school, technical college, or apprenticeship program; OR at least three years of hands-on carpentry experience.
- Experience operating scissor and boom lifts, as well as light site work equipment, such as truck loaders and mini excavators.
· Class A commercial driving license preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged standing, climbing, bending, and kneeling.
- Ability to lift up to 50-75 pounds.
- Safe operation of sharp tools and power equipment.
- Work in various weather conditions and terrains.
- Strong manual dexterity, balance, and hand-eye coordination.
