Job Description: We are looking for a hardworking, detail-oriented LINE-X Spray Technician and Prepper to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the entire process of applying our industry-leading LINE-X protective coatings to truck beds, automotive parts, and other accessories. Your primary duties will include thoroughly preparing surfaces to ensure maximum adhesion and expertly spraying the coating to achieve a flawless, durable finish.

Key Responsibilities:
- Vehicle Preparation: Thoroughly clean, mask, wire-tape, sand, and scuff truck beds and other surfaces to ensure optimal coating adhesion.
- Assembly/Disassembly: Carefully remove and reinstall truck tailgates, hardware, tie-downs, and other accessories without causing damage to the vehicle.
- Spraying: Apply LINE-X protective coatings using high-pressure, specialized spray equipment, ensuring consistent texture and thickness.
- Quality Control: Inspect finished work to guarantee it meets our high standards for appearance and durability before returning the vehicle to the customer.
- Equipment Maintenance: Clean, maintain, and troubleshoot the spray gun, proportioner, and other shop equipment on a daily basis.
- Safety & Organization: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace while adhering to all safety guidelines and properly utilizing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Experience in auto body repair, automotive detailing, industrial painting, or protective coatings is highly preferred (but we are willing to train the right candidate).
- Comfortable using hand tools and power tools (e.g., dual-action sanders, grinders, masking equipment).
- Exceptional attention to detail—prep work is the most critical part of this job!
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods, bend, kneel, and regularly lift/move up to 50 lbs.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record (ability to safely move customer vehicles around the shop).
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Pay: $17.00 - $24.00 per hour
