Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing manufacturing processes, enhancing product quality, and driving continuous improvement initiatives within our facility. This position requires a strong foundation in mechanical engineering principles, along with hands-on experience in various manufacturing technologies and methodologies.
Duties
- Develop and implement manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and quality.
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve production issues.
- Utilize AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Creo for designing and modifying equipment layouts and tooling.
- Program and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automated systems.
- Oversee plastics injection molding processes to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support assembly line operations and robotics integration.
- Create and maintain schematics for industrial equipment and tooling.
- Apply lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and enhance productivity.
- Engage in continuous improvement projects to elevate manufacturing standards.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 quality management systems.
Experience .
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly with factory operations.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo) for design purposes.
- Familiarity with CNC programming, CAM programming, GD&T, and vision inspection systems.
- Knowledge of welding techniques and fabrication processes is advantageous.
- Experience with project scheduling and managing multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work on industrial equipment.
- Background in process engineering or tooling design is highly desirable.
