- Works closely with the VP, RIA Sales to develop an appropriate business plan to maximize territorial sales.
- Conducts product and sales training through individual and group training sessions, seminars, workshops, and branch meetings.
- Strategically plans and manages the deployment of resources to maximize territory sales while being responsible for budget and expenses.
- Works in conjunction with an Internal Wholesaler to identify and foster leads generated from referrals, campaigns, and territory canvassing, and meeting follow-up.
- Utilizes Jackson databases to create and maintain adviser profiles and data on sales activity.
- Utilizes CRM system to communicate effectively with internal partners.
- Operates in a “hybrid” wholesaling capacity which entails spending up to 25% of time in the field, running “video” virtual meetings, and engaging with Advisors through traditional avenues such as telephone, email, and virtual meetings.
- Performs other duties and/or projects as assigned.
- Strong ability to work independently and to communicate clearly and concisely. Ability to create and deliver effective presentations to current and prospective advisers.
- Thorough knowledge of sales and marketing principles and practices. Expected to maintain knowledge of existing Jackson products, new or enhanced Jackson products, Jackson Marketing Campaigns, and Jackson’s RIA Platform capabilities
- Ability to identify and position Jackson products and services, utilizing financial planning tools and platforms commonly used by independent RIAs.
- Proven ability to grow a territory as measured by sales, active adviser count, and persistency of business.
- Strong aptitude for technology, including software applications, e-mail, and database management from remote locations.
- Excellent prospecting skills.
- Meet activity requirements.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
- Ability to live in territory.

Base Pay:
$70,000.00. The amount listed reflects base salary only. In addition to the base salary, this role is eligible to participate in our annual bonus program and will be eligible to earn special compensation based on sales. This role will also be eligible for compensated personal time off and holidays, health benefits, 401(k) plan with generous matching and other benefit programs according to the Company's employment policies and subject to the formal terms of such plans and programs.
