KSC Foods is seeking a CDL Class A Driver to safely transport and deliver products to customer locations throughout the Western United States. This position operates refrigerated tractor-trailers, requires overnight travel, and includes unloading product at customer locations using electric pallet jacks and other approved equipment. Drivers must follow DOT/FMCSA regulations, Company safety standards, and customer-specific delivery and facility access requirements.
Key Responsibilities

Safely operate Class A commercial motor vehicles, including refrigerated tractor-trailers exceeding 26,001 lbs. GVWR.

Transport and deliver products to customer locations, warehouses, correctional facilities, and other assigned destinations.

Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections in accordance with DOT requirements.

Safely unload product using electric pallet jacks, manual pallet jacks, lift gates where equipped, and other approved material handling equipment.

Verify shipment contents and accurately complete bills of lading, proof-of-delivery documentation, invoices, manifests, temperature logs, and other required paperwork.

Follow assigned routes, dispatch instructions, delivery windows, customer procedures, and facility access requirements.

Use Company-approved systems, including ELD/Samsara, Teams, Outlook, mobile applications, GPS/navigation tools, and scanning systems.

Communicate any delays, route changes, equipment concerns, accidents, safety issues, or operational concerns promptly to dispatch or management.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment

Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and move products weighing up to 50 pounds as required.

Ability to sit for extended periods while driving and to stand, walk, bend, climb, reach, and perform physical tasks during unloading and delivery activities.

Work is performed in commercial vehicles, warehouses, loading docks, customer delivery areas, outdoor environments, refrigerated or temperature-controlled environments, and institutional or correctional facility settings.
