American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position in Wilson, NC, requiring a minimum of 2 years of ED experience and night shift availability.

Work setting is a 294-bed, Joint Commission Accredited hospital's Emergency Department
-
26-bed Emergency Department serving a mixed patient population (adult, pediatric, geriatric)
-
Common diagnoses and treatments include respiratory distress, overdose, CHF, dialysis, and hypertension
-
Patient ratio is 1:4–5, flexible depending on acuity
-
Equipment includes GE Monitors and standard ED equipment
-
EMR is Meditech; experience is preferred
-
Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
-
Every other weekend required
-
No on-call requirements
-
Float requirement to like assignments
-
13-week contract
-
Active NC or Compact RN license required
-
Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIHSS (AHA certifications required)

Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required

Associate's degree in Nursing required

SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Orientation is held bi-weekly

Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel pay rates

Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible

Candidates who are employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible

Any color scrubs are acceptable; scrubs branded with the facility name are not permitted
