Summary
A Court Representative will represent the youths in legal settings and ensure their voices are heard during court proceedings. The Court Representative will play a key role in supporting our mission to provide care and stability for vulnerable youth."
Responsibilities
- Prepare legal documents and reports related to court cases.
- Collaborate with social workers, attorneys, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive support for children.
- Conduct research on case law and relevant legal precedents.
- Maintain accurate records of court appearances and case progress.
- Provide updates to families regarding court outcomes and next steps.
- Assist with administrative tasks related to case management as needed.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
- Associate Degree required. Bachelor’s degree in social work, law, or a related field preferred.
- Paralegal experience or equivalent legal background is required.
- Strong understanding of litigation processes and legal drafting.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Proficient in office software and data entry systems.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
