Run the floor at a company on the rise
Back Support Systems is a growing, USA-made manufacturer — our products were just featured on Good Morning America, and demand is climbing. We need one person to run the floor: lead the team, keep the machines running, and own the operation end to end.
This is not a clipboard job. It's a working manager role for someone who's equally comfortable coaching a team member and pulling a motor apart.
What you'll own
- The team — recruit, train, and lead a small production crew. Set the standard, hold people to it, and make the personnel calls when someone isn't a fit.
- The machines — perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical issues (motors, pneumatics, controls, tooling) to keep production running without waiting on outside techs.
- The operation — daily production, order fulfillment (including Amazon Seller Central), inventory tracking in Excel, and a clean, safe, organized facility you'd be proud to show anyone.
You're a fit if you have
- Hands-on experience managing a small production or warehouse team
- Genuine mechanical aptitude — you've maintained and repaired production equipment yourself
- Working knowledge of basic electrical systems, and the judgment to know when to call a licensed electrician
- A direct, fair leadership style — you address problems early instead of letting them fester
- Comfort with Excel, email, and order management systems
Amazon Seller Central or e-commerce experience is a plus — we'll train the right person on the rest.
