Job Summary:
CARGO/SPRINTER VAN OWNER OPERATORS
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Owner Operator to join our team. As an Owner Operator, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations within a 300 mile radius in a timely and efficient manner. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a van to transport goods and materials
- Load and unload cargo, install/connect cargo, ensuring proper handling and secure packaging
- Plan routes and navigate through traffic to ensure timely deliveries
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage logs and delivery receipts
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients
Experience:
- Previous experience as a driver or in a similar role is preferred
- Familiarity with courier services, warehouse operations, or commercial driving is a plus
Skills:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately
- Physical stamina to lift and move heavy items when required
