Safety Director (Commercial Electrical Construction)

Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of commercial construction safety experience with bachelor’s degree in OHS preferred.
- Current BCSP certification: STSC, STS, CHST, or higher.
- First Aide/CPR/AED certifications.
- OSHA 30/500/510 plus experienced with OSHA 300 recordkeeping.
- Hands-on leader who can build trust in the field, partner effectively with leadership, hold others accountable, and inspire a culture where safety is embraced as a shared responsibility.
Key Functions/Responsibilities
- Serve as a visible, approachable resource for employees throughout the organization.
- Build strong relationships with field personnel, leadership, general contractor safety teams, and regulatory agencies.
- Establish companywide Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) program.
- Conduct safety trainings and promote a proactive safety culture focused on engagement and accountability.
- Support field operations with risk mitigation strategies.
- Lead general safety audits and near miss, incident, and accident investigations as warranted.
- Maintain OSHA 300 recordkeeping and ensure all regulatory and certification requirements are met and current.
