HALCON Furniture, located in Stewartville, MN, manufactures award-winning, modern office furniture of the highest quality. To meet increased demand for our innovative products, we are currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our growing company. The ideal candidate will embrace the opportunity to contribute to the manufacturing team and bring a positive attitude and strong organizational skills to a dedicated, fast-paced team.
Essential Duties:-
Evaluate the manufacturing process to identify areas of improvement.

Lead projects with overall responsibility for the implementation and monitoring of new products of broad scope into the plant.

Provide timely product and process support for any manufacturing area to diagnose problems and implement solutions to minimize interruptions to production.

Improve manufacturing efficiencies while maintaining the highest level of quality.
- Maintain technical knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedural document requirements.

Evaluate whether to make or purchase parts and products.

Implement ideas and solutions into the manufacturing process.
Qualifications:-
Expertise and/or working knowledge of manufacturing

Experience in lean manufacturing practices

Project Management skills

Ability to prioritize and manage workload with multiple deadlines

Productivity improvement techniques
-
Knowledge of simulation, process modeling, and value stream mapping
-
4-year technical degree or equivalent education
-
Must be self-motivated and work effectively in a team environment

Ability to motivate and lead others

Demonstrated proficiency with computer systems such as: Microsoft Office, ERP system

Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities

Experience in Engineering Design Process
Salary Range:
