The Phoenix Insurance is an Independent Property & Casualty Insurance Agency, who advises clients and works with top-rated insurance carriers to find options for complex risks. We are a high volume, fast-paced insurance office that is looking for a results-driven New Business Advisor. This role requires a dynamic individual to generate new business revenue by prospecting new clients, analyzing carrier options, and providing custom solutions tailored to each client’s insurance needs.
New Business Advisor Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and grow a pipeline of qualified prospects through networking, referrals, community involvement, and proactive business development activities
- Consult with clients to understand their unique exposures and risk management objectives, delivering tailored insurance solutions from a portfolio of top-rated carriers
- Drive new business production through consultative selling, strategic prospecting, and disciplined pipeline management
- Identify and capitalize on cross-sell and upsell opportunities to maximize client value and agency revenue
- Consistently achieve and exceed monthly sales, activity, and production goals
- Build long-term client relationships through exceptional service, trusted advisory, and ongoing account stewardship
- Represent The Phoenix Insurance at industry, community, and networking events, with a minimum of two events per month
- Maintain accurate documentation and CRM activity while ensuring compliance with agency standards and carrier requirements
Ideal candidates will possess the following:
- Active Property and Casualty license required
- 2 to 3 years of proven sales success within the Property and Casualty insurance industry, ideally in an independent agency environment
- Demonstrated track record of achieving or exceeding new business production goals
- Proven ability to prospect and generate opportunities through networking and business development efforts
- Competitive, self-motivated, and driven by performance, professional growth, and results
- Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to uncover client needs, articulate value, and confidently close business
- Relationship-oriented professional who excels at building trust and developing long-term client partnerships
- Analytical and detail-oriented, with the ability to evaluate coverage options and develop thoughtful insurance solutions
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word, as well as Adobe Reader or Acrobat
- Adaptable and comfortable learning new web-based systems; experience with EZLynx is a plus

Pay: $70,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
