Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Electrician to join our dynamic team! Duties
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and systems in commercial, industrial, and construction environments
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute electrical layouts
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete electrical tasks on various sites
- Test electrical systems using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters to diagnose issues accurately
- Follow NEC (National Electrical Code) standards and local electrical codes to ensure compliance during all work activities
- Work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and low voltage systems for automation projects
- Collaborate with construction teams, frame carpenters, and other tradespeople during renovation or new construction projects
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspections conducted for project documentation
Skills
- Extensive experience working as an industrial or commercial electrician with a solid understanding of electrical systems
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for complex wiring layouts
- Strong knowledge of NEC standards, high voltage and low voltage systems, and safety protocols on construction sites
- Skilled in the use of hand tools (e.g., pliers, screwdrivers) and power tools (e.g., drills, saws) for electrical installations
- Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation controls
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters
- Familiarity with renovation projects requiring adaptation of existing wiring or systems
- Hands-on experience with schematics interpretation and electrical system schematics analysis
- Knowledge of frame carpentry basics beneficial for integrating electrical work into structural components
- Handyman experience is a plus for versatile problem-solving on-site
