As the Manufacturing Technician for the organization, you will provide technical support to manufacturing’s daily operations and perform continuous improvement activities with goal of improving quality and reliability.
Hours: Monday – Friday, 7AM – 3:45PM
The skills you need to succeed:
- Experience with machine equipment
- Good software abilities: MS Office – Word, Excel, Outlook proficiency necessary.
- Ability to work with minimal assistance.
- Ability to work in a “Team” environment.
- Ability to work in environments experiencing routine and rapid change.
- Excellent organization and decision-making skills.
- You must be able to lift 30 to 35 lbs (2-3 times per hour).
- You must pass a pre-employment vision exam (all candidates must be able to accurately distinguish colors used to identify electronic components, indicators, and markings).
- You must pass a dexterity test, among others, at discretion of employer.
- You must have basic knowledge of computers.
Education & experience of a successful candidate:
- High School or equivalent
- 2-4 years of experience in equivalent field
- Certification for electronic assembly equipment desirable
- Experience with lean manufacturing and /or six sigma desirable
